In this chapter, the family must face a dark curse and hidden familial magic after Sally's daughter uncovers the long-buried origins of their supernatural lineage. Critics have been mixed on its execution—many praise the chemistry between Bullock and Kidman and enjoy the nostalgic elements, while others feel its extended runtime and uneven pacing keep it from fully recapturing the original's charm.

The Uprising — 🎬 Cinema The Uprising is a historical action-drama directed by Paul Greengrass, starring Andrew Garfield as a ploughman who becomes the unlikely leader of the 1381 Peasants' Revolt against King Richard II, alongside Jamie Bell, Stephen Dillane, and Tom Hollander. It recently opened in the United States and has drawn mixed reactions: critics praise the performances, scale, and themes of rebellion, while others criticize its uneven narrative pacing and sometimes heavy-handed framing, especially the marketing's suggestion of a Robin Hood origin. In the UK, reviewers note a confirmed autumn release with early debate about its title rebranding, but the film is already stirring conversation over its depiction of class, faith and authority.
