National Day

National TV Dinner Day (USA) The first TV dinner was introduced by C.A. Swanson & Sons in 1953 and many still recognize September 10 as a celebration of the frozen‐meal tray that changed American convenience eating forever.

National School Picture Day (USA) This day celebrates the annual school portrait tradition and in 2026 it falls on the second Thursday of September, when many schools take pictures of students.

National Swap Ideas Day (USA) Swap Ideas Day encourages sharing helpful or creative thoughts with others and trading ideas to spark inspiration and collaboration.

World Suicide Prevention Day (International) Recognised globally, this day was established by the International Association for Suicide Prevention and WHO to highlight that open conversations and support can save lives amid the worldwide suicide crisis.

White Balloon Day (Australia) White Balloon Day is Australia’s longest‐running campaign focused on preventing child sexual assault and communities are asked to wear white and donate to support survivors.
